Tokyo’s standing sushi bars

September 12, 2018

Yes, the clue is in the name. Today’s post is about sushi bars in Tokyo that are standing-room-only. Reasonably priced sushi which is freshly prepared in front of you. Two friends of mine recommended one in Shinjuku and I also stumbled across one in Shibuya. For all intense and purposes, they’re the same but I’ll … More Tokyo’s standing sushi bars

5 of Barcelona’s best tapas bars

September 4, 2018

Well hello there. Long time no blog. Fear not, I have plenty of new content coming. Let’s get started with Barcelona which I visited earlier this summer. A disclaimer before I begin: I’m a big foodie. I like cooking food, looking at food and scoffing food. But I like good food. Some people eat to … More 5 of Barcelona’s best tapas bars

How the heck are these 4 months up already 😭😭😭 I haven’t even started making my video montages and I already wanna cry! So many magical, exciting, funny, exhausting (and sometimes gross…) memories. Onwards to new adventures. Home for a quick spell to catch up with friends and family and then heading to Canada! 🇨🇦❄️
Soi Cowboy is one of Bangkok’s neon light clusters. This infamous side street is a red light district packed with ‘go-go’ bars and other similar, err, establishments. Among the many western male clientele and weed stalls are some great neon lights. This is my favourite shot. 🌈 Even red light districts need snack carts! (I so wish her face was in full focus but she was too quick for me 😭).
Beautiful Bangkok! 🇹🇭 Only my second night in Thailand and I was treated to this gorgeous sunset 😍Bloody love a rooftop bar.
Throwback to one of the million beautiful streets I got to wander in Portugal 💙🇵🇹
What a handsome birdy! 😍🦚 It was my last day in Lisbon and I was making a final must-do list before catching the train to Sintra later. I almost gave the Castelo de São Jorge a miss but then read it’s home to loads of free-roaming peacocks! 🏰 I’m a big animal lover so rushed over after breakfast. I’m a history lover too but at this point I just wanted to find peacocks! Round the back of the ruins, they were everywhere! And very chill around people. They reminded me of the deer I befriended in Nara, Japan but less cheeky. A castle worker told me they reckon they have about 400 peacocks…! Swipe to see a peacock fight!
